Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Monterey Crash on Highway 1 Monday
Monterey, California (October 22, 2019) – According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday afternoon in a traffic accident in Monterey.
The crash happened at about 2:47 p.m. Monday, October 21 in the 36240 block of Highway 1.
As per the CHP report, an unidentified man was riding his motorcycle on Highway 1 when for an unknown reason, he crashed into a white van.
Major Injury Motorcycle Crash in Monterey Monday
Paramedics responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist lying down on the roadway with major injuries. They immediately attended to the victim.
The identity of the rider and current condition were not immediately available.
No details were immediately provided regarding the other involved parties.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
