At Least 1 Injured in Monterey Motorcycle Crash on Highway 1 at Carpenter Street
Monterey, California (January 24, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a motorcycle collision Wednesday afternoon in the area of Monterey, according to authorities.
The accident happened a while before 2:52 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, on northbound Highway 1 at Carpenter Street.
Officials reported that a motorcycle and a gray sedan crashed for unknown reasons.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the injured parties. The rider suffered minor injuries following the collision.
The patient’s name and current condition were not immediately available.
Officials closed the two lanes of Highway 1 to give way to an on-scene investigation.
