Man Killed in Montecito Pedestrian Accident at Casa Dorinda Retirement Community
Montecito, California (March 2, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Montecito on Saturday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at the Casa Dorinda campus at 300 Hot Springs Road at about 10:30 a.m.
The authorities said a delivery truck was backing up in the area when it ran over a man in the driveway.
The unidentified pedestrian died at the scene of the collision.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
