2 Hospitalized after Monrovia Accident on 210 Freeway near Mountain Avenue
Monrovia, California (November 19, 2020) – Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident involved several vehicles on a freeway in Monrovia, according to a local news source.
At about 1:25 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, the California Highway Patrol officials received a report about the accident on the Interstate 210 Freeway near Mountain Avenue.
A motorcyclist was reported to have crashed in the No. 1 lane of the freeway. The crash triggered another collision that involved a semi-truck and another vehicle, the CHP report states.
Injury Traffic Collision on 210 Freeway in Monrovia
Authorities said two patients were transported to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Their names and condition were not immediately disclosed.
The crash caused the closure of the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes for an unknown period.
The accident remains under investigation.
