Mono County, CA: 2 Motorcyclists Hospitalized after Crash on Highway 89
2 Injured in Coleville Motorcycle Accident on Highway 89 near Highway 395
Mono County, California (August 31, 2020) – Two motorcyclists were hospitalized after a major injury collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Coleville, Mono County.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, two motorcycles were involved in a crash at about 3:42 p.m. on Highway 89 near Highway 395.
Crews were dispatched to the scene after authorities received a 911 call reporting the accident.
At the scene, the first responders found two patients with major injuries. An airship was requested to transport the patients to the hospital. Care Flight 97 landed at the intersection of Highway 395 and Highway 89 and airlifted the victims to Renown Medical Center.
The crash is under an active investigation.
