Man Killed in Modesto Accident on Briggsmore Avenue at McHenry Village

Modesto, California (March 1, 2021) – A 52-year-old Modesto man died following a Saturday evening motorcycle accident, near Modesto Shopping Center, in Modesto.

The deadly crash took place along Briggsmore Avenue at McHenry Village at approximately 6:15 p.m.

As per the report, a male party riding a motorcycle east on Briggsmore Avenue crashed with a westbound vehicle in the evening hours.

The initial report showed that the involved motorist may have been using the turning pocket to get from Briggsmore into McHenry Village at the collision time.

Fatal Modesto Motorcycle Accident

The unidentified rider died at the hospital while undergoing treatment of major injuries.

The involved motorist, a 52-year-old woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Officials shut down Briggsmore Avenue near McHenry Village for unknown time.

An investigation into the February 27 is underway.
