Modesto, CA: 2 Injured after Big Rig Crashes Into Taco Truck Dining and Building
Two Hospitalized after Modesto Truck Accident on South Riverside Drive near Yosemite Boulevard

Modesto, California (August 30, 2020) – Two people were injured Saturday evening when a big rig crashed into a dining area and a building of a taco truck in Modesto, according to a local news source.
At about 6:48 p.m. Saturday, August 29, authorities received a report about the accident on South Riverside Drive near Yosemite Boulevard.
The authorities said a semi-truck hauling two trailers slammed into an electrical utility pole shearing it off at the base.
The truck then crashed into the dining area of a food truck and hit a wooden commercial building behind it.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and rendered aid to two people who were injured in the crash. Both patients were then transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
No other details about the crash were given.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
