Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries in Mission Viejo Crash on Interstate 5 Freeway near Alicia Parkway
Mission Viejo, California (May 19, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a traffic crash in Mission Viejo, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The major injury collision happened at around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, on Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Alicia Parkway.
As per the CHP report, the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle on the northbound side of the freeway.

First responders arrived at the scene and found the motorcycle rider down in the carpool lane. The victim was then transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries.
The northbound Interstate 5 Freeway was closed due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
