1 Trapped in Mission Hills Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Ronald Reagan Freeway

Mission Hills, California (October 24, 2020) – One person was extricated from the wreckage of a Friday night Mission Hills crash and hospitalized in critical condition. Four other people were also injured in the crash.
According to a local news source, the multi-vehicle accident happened at about 9:55 p.m. on the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway, just north of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway.

Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside a vehicle. That victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Four other patients were being evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Vehicles were blocking traffic lanes after the crash.
All northbound lanes of 5 Freeway at the Ronald Reagan Freeway were stopped at about 10:20 p.m. following the collision.
