Woman Hospitalized after Mission Bay Boating Accident near Mission Bay Park
Mission Bay, California (July 27, 2020) – A woman was hit and seriously injured by a boat on Sunday afternoon in Mission Bay, authorities said.
The major injury crash transpired at about 4:50 p.m., on July 26, near Mission Bay Park.
According to the officials, the woman fell off a towable tube and was struck by a boat.
Following the collision, Lifeguards scooped up the woman and got her onto a boat launch ramp near Mission Bay Park.
Woman Hospitalized after Boating Accident near Mission Bay Park in Mission Bay
The woman sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries in the crash. She was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
