Ming Lee ID’d as Man Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Friant Road near Merrill Avenue

Fresno, California (February 8, 2021) – Authorities have identified the man who died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning in Fresno as Ming Lee, 38, of Fresno.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 7:00 a.m., on February 6, on Friant Road near Merrill Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Lee was walking northbound on the paved shoulder of Friant Road when a northbound vehicle swerved to the right and struck him.

The involved driver did not stop to render aid to Lee and fled the scene. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle or its driver.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
It is undetermined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
