Milpitas, California (July 11, 2019) – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Thursday morning in Milpitas, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident happened at about 9:42 a.m. on southbound 880 Freeway, just south of Dixon Landing Road.
A Honda Civic, a Nissan SUV and a third vehicle collided under unclear circumstances.
One person who complained of pain to the head and neck was transported to Kaiser Permanente Fremont Medical Center.
A SigAlert was issued closing the No. 1, 2, and 3 lanes due to the accident. All lanes were reopened at 11:00 a.m.
The crash is under an active investigation by the authorities.
