Man Critically Injured in Millbrae Pedestrian Accident on El Camino Real near Center Street
Millbrae, California (November 13, 2020) – A pedestrian sustained critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle early Friday morning in Millbrae, according to authorities.
The major-injury pedestrian crash happened at around 12:55 a.m. in the southbound lane of El Camino Real, just south of Center Street.
Authorities said the pedestrian, only identified as a 30-year-old man, was hit by a vehicle while he was in the traffic lanes.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and took the man to a local hospital in critical condition. His name was not immediately disclosed.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The authorities closed Southbound El Camino Real as they investigated the cause of the crash.
