Michael Sullivan ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Collision at Slater Avenue and Morgan Lane

Huntington Beach, California (September 27, 2019) – The Orange County coroner’s office has identified the motorcyclist who died in a traffic accident that happened Wednesday evening as Michael Thomas Sullivan, 31, of Costa Mesa.
The deadly crash happened at around 5:13 p.m. Wednesday, September 25 in the area of Slater Avenue and Morgan Lane.
The crash involved a 2008 red Ducati motorcycle and a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. According to police, the motorcycle was wedged beneath the left rear tire of the truck while the Silverado sustained severe damage to its left rear side and axle.
The motorcyclist, now identified as Sullivan, was found lying unresponsive on the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Silverado, a 71-year-old Huntington Beach man, stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
