Michael Nunziato ID’d as Rider Killed in Oxnard Bicycle Accident on Statham Boulevard
Oxnard, California (April 29, 2020) – The 49-year-old Oxnard man who died following a bicycle collision that happened in the area of Oxnard early Sunday morning has been identified as Michael Nunziato, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The fatal crash happened in the 2400 block of Statham Boulevard at about 4:30 a.m. April 26.
According to the Oxnard Police Department, Nunziato was riding his bicycle along the highway when he was struck by a 2017 Honda Civic driven northbound on Statham by a 43-year-old Oxnard man.

Sadly, Nunziato was declared dead at the scene.
The Honda motorist, who was not hurt in the crash, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
