Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on 405 Freeway near Victory Boulevard in Van Nuys ID’d as Michael Lodl
Van Nuys, California (July 20, 2020) – 17-year-old Michael Lodl has been identified as the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday in Van Nuys, the Los Angeles County Coroner-Medical Examiner’s Office reported.
The fatal pedestrian crash happened on the Interstate 405 Freeway near Victory Boulevard.
Lodl was hit by a vehicle while crossing the middle lanes of the Interstate. Officials said his car was parked on the shoulder of the highway at the time of the collision.
Meanwhile, some witnesses believed Lodl might have intentionally run into traffic before he was hit by the unspecified vehicle.

Lodl died as a result of the wreck.
