Man Killed in Merced Train Crash on NW Bear Creek Drive
Merced, California (September 23, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train on Sunday morning in Merced, according to the Merced police.
The incident took place at about 11 a.m. September 22, near 1293 NW Bear Creek Drive.
Authorities said a Merced man was walking on the tracks when he was hit by an Amtrak train.

The victim, believed to be a man in his 30s or 40s, died in the accident.
No other injuries were reported.
The police are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
