Merced, CA: 1 Severely Injured in Fiery Car Crash on North Highway 59
1 Injured in Monday Evening Merced Car Accident on North Highway 59
Merced, California (September 8, 2020) – One person was severely injured in a fiery single-car crash that happened Monday evening on North Highway 59 in Merced.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, authorities received a call about the accident at about 7:10 p.m. on 4563 North Highway 59.
The vehicle crashed for unknown reasons and went about 30 feet off the roadway and into a ditch where it caught fire.
First responders found the vehicle with heavy rollover damage and no tires left.
One person sustained severe injuries in the accident, authorities said.
No other information was given about the crash, but CHP is investigating.
