Merced Collision at Bear Creek Drive and Parsons Avenue Kills One Victim
Merced, California (December 7, 2020) – One person died, and three others were injured following a single-car crash at an intersection in Merced Saturday afternoon, December 5.
The fatal accident took place at Bear Creek Drive and Parsons Avenue shortly before 4:00 a.m.
As per the dispatch, a black Dodge Caravan lost control for unknown reasons and fell into Bear Creek in the morning hours.
Due to the impact, two women and two male parties were pinned inside the car.
3 Injured in Fatal Merced Car Accident
Sadly, the unidentified Caravan operator died at the scene.
Meanwhile, three victims riding in the car were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the wreck.
Intoxication was believed to have played a role in the mishap.
The deadly accident remains under active investigation.
