1 Person Hospitalized after Menifee Crash on Interstate 215 near Scott Road Exit
Menifee, California (December 31, 2020) – One person was injured in a head-on crash on Thursday morning in Menifee, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 2:40 a.m. on Interstate 215 near Scott Road exit.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle being pursued by the Hemet police drove the wrong way on Interstate 215 and crashed into another vehicle head-on.

One person who was trapped in the other vehicle was extricated and hospitalized in an unknown condition.
The driver of the wrong-way driver fled the scene. It was not clear if the suspect was arrested.
