Megan Hill Injured, Samuel Santoya Arrested after Victorville Car Accident 7th Street near Victor Street

Victorville, California (July 1, 2020) – Megan Hill, 33, has been identified as the woman who was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday night in Victorville, police said.
At about 10:00 p.m., on June 26, the authorities responded to the crash in the 14900 block of 7th Street near Victor Street.
According to the officials, a 2002 silver Honda Civic, driven by Samuel Santoya, a resident of Hesperia, rear-ended a 2020 Toyota Camry, operated by Hill.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated Hill, who was trapped in her vehicle.

Hill sustained pain to her back, neck, and head. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Santoya, who was determined to be intoxicated, was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for DUI.
According to jail records, Santoya remained in custody and is being held on several charges, including DUI, driving without a driver’s license, and battery on a person.
The battery charge is from a 2012 case out of Hesperia. His total combined bail is set at $400,000 and was scheduled for arraignment in a Victorville courtroom on June 30, 2020.
The crash remains under investigation.
