Mecca, California (July 5, 2019) – One person sustained major injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Friday morning near Mecca, according to the CHP.
The incident was reported at about 5:37 a.m. on Avenue 66, west of Highway 86.
CHP said GMC and Ford pickups were involved in the crash.
One Seriously Injured in Mecca Car Crash
One person was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with major injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
