Mecca, California (November 8, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday afternoon traffic accident that left two juveniles injured in Mecca.

The accident occurred at around 1:45 p.m. near the intersection of Box Canyon Road and Painted Canyon Road.

According to the police, an off-road vehicle crashed in the area in unclear circumstances.

Following the collision, two juveniles onboard were trapped, the officials said.

The two juveniles were taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
