Lake Elsinore Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Meadowbrook Crash on Highway 74 at Hammack Avenue

Meadowbrook, California (February 4, 2021) – A 24-year-old motorcyclist from Lake Elsinore was injured in a traffic accident on Wednesday evening in Meadowbrook, authorities said.
The major injury motorcycle accident happened at about 6:15 p.m., on February 3, on Highway 74 at Hammack Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was riding westbound on the highway on a 1985 Suzuki bike with no lights when an eastbound 2006 gray four-door Ford F-250 truck, driven by a man, made a left turn onto Hammack Avenue.
As a result of the collision, the rider was ejected onto the roadway.
Motorcyclist Injured in Highway 74 Crash
The motorcyclist was transported to Wildomar’s Inland Valley Medical Center with major injuries.
The involved driver parked the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
