Person Injured in McKinleyville Pedestrian Accident at Central Avenue and Pickett Road Tuesday
McKinleyville, California (September 22, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in McKinleyville, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian accident happened at about 2:18 p.m. Tuesday, September 17 in the area of Central Avenue and Pickett Road.
As per the CHP report, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle of unknown type at the McKinleyville intersection for an unknown reason

Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the pedestrian who suffered injuries as a result of the accident. However, the name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
