Mauricio Flores, Jessica Bailey ID’d as Suspects Arrested after Midtown Bicycle Crash at West Washington Street at India Street in Midtown
Midtown, California (September 2, 2020) – Mauricio Flores and Jessica Bailey have been identified as the suspects who were arrested after a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist seriously injured last month in Midtown, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 21, at the intersection of West Washington Street at India Street in Midtown.
A 2005 Dodge Caravan, driven by Mauricio Flores, collided with a bicyclist at the intersection in unclear circumstances, the police said.

The bicyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Following the collision, Flores and his passenger, Bailey, fled the scene. They were later located on Tuesday morning, September 1, in a shopping center parking lot in Kern County and were arrested.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
