Maurice Hill Jr. ID’d as 19-Year-Old Man Killed in Riverside Car Crash on Pearblossom Highway near 248th Street East
Riverside, California (November 16, 2020) – Maurice C. Hill Jr., 19, of Riverside, has been identified as the man who was killed in a fiery head-on car crash on Monday morning in the Llano area of the Antelope Valley, Riverside, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 5:00 a.m. on Pearblossom Highway, east of 248th Street East.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2008 Mazda 6, driven by Hill Jr., was traveling eastbound on the highway when it crossed into the westbound side of the road and crashed head-on into a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado.
As a result of the crash impact, both vehicles caught fire, the officials said.

Hill Jr sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
The Chevrolet’s driver, a 57-year-old man from Pinon Hills, sustained major injuries. He was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
