Mather, California (April 8, 2021) – A Mather head-on collision that occurred Wednesday afternoon left at least one person with serious injuries, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The crash, involving a van and struck a sedan happened at approximately 4 p.m. at the intersection of Zinfandel Drive and Douglas Road near the Mather Airport.

As per the CHP dispatch, the van left its path for unknown reasons and hit a sedan head-on in the afternoon hours.

Major Injury Mather Accident

One unidentified victim was hospitalized with major injuries sustained in the accident.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
