Mateo Montoya ID’d as 52-Year-Old Man Killed in Pacoima Crash on 118 Freeway near Glenoaks Boulevard
Pacoima, California (February 14, 2021) – Mateo Montoya, 52, has been identified as the man who was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Friday evening in Pacoima, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
The California Highway Patrol said the deadly crash happened at around 6:45 p.m., on February 12, in the eastbound lanes of Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway, just east of Glenoaks Boulevard.
According to the officials, the collision involved a motorcyclist and several vehicles. Details on what led up to the accident at this time are unknown.

Sadly, Montoya was pronounced dead at the scene. It was not clear if he was on the motorcycle or in the other vehicles.
Police closed all lanes of the eastbound 118 Freeway for nearly two hours as they conducted an investigation.
