Mary Sloan Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision at Soscol Avenue and Silverado Trail in Napa

Napa, California (February 5, 2021) – The Napa County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of a woman who was killed in a car crash that left another person injured in Napa on Thursday afternoon.
The deadly collision happened at the intersection of Soscol Avenue and Silverado Trail at about 2:15 p.m. February 4, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A car was traveling northbound on Soscol when it collided with an SUV that was making a turn onto Silverado Trail from Soscol.
Officers with the Napa Fire Department arrived at the scene and rendered aid to three people who were injured in the crash.
Mary Sloan, 85, of Napa, who was a passenger in one of the cars was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center where she died while undergoing.
A second person was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
The police said the involved parties cooperated with the investigation.
