Marty Mannani ID’d as Man Killed in Mission Viejo Pedestrian Crash on Marguerite Parkway near Alerzal

Mission Viejo, California (July 27, 2020) – The Orange County coroner’s office has identified Marty Mannani, 64, of San Juan Capistrano, as the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Sunday morning in Mission Viejo.
The fatal crash happened at about 7:35 a.m., on July 26, on Marguerite Parkway near Alerzal.
As per the police report, Mannani was struck by a vehicle while he was trying to cross the street.
It was not clear if Mannani was in a crosswalk at the time of the accident, the officials said.

Mannani was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. He was also not intoxicated.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
