Woman Killed in Martinez Pedestrian Accident on Highway 4 near Pacheco Boulevard
Martinez, California (February 22, 2019) – A woman was killed after being struck by a car shortly after a collision in Martinez on Thursday morning.
According to a local news source, the fatal pedestrian accident happened on Highway 4 near Pacheco Boulevard.
As per the report, the woman had exited her car and was crossing the road after her car crashed into the center divider when she was struck by a car.
The unidentified woman sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation to establish the cause of the accident is underway.
