Marina, California (June 4, 2019) – At least one person has died in a traffic collision that involved two-vehicle in Monterey County Tuesday morning.

The fatal crash was reported at about 9:25 a.m. June 4, on Cabrillo Highway 1 in Marina.

The California Highway Patrol report indicated that a white Kia Sol and a black Subaru collided on the highway for reasons still under investigation. Due to the impact of the collision, both vehicles ended up into a ditch. The initial report indicated that the Kia was blocking traffic lanes, just south of the Reservation Road on the ramp.

At least one person was pronounced dead by the paramedics following the wreck. It was not clear how many people were hurt in the deadly accident.

Meanwhile, the crash remains under an active investigation.
