Manteca, CA: Major Injury Head-On Crash at French Camp and Union Roads
1 Seriously Injured in Manteca Collision at French Camp Road and Union Road

Manteca, California (May 23, 2021) – One person was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a head-on collision in Manteca, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash, which involved two vehicles, was reported to the CHP at around 3:54 p.m. Saturday, May 21, near the intersection of French Camp and Union roads.
Two pickup trucks collided head-on in the area, as per the CHP report. One of the vehicles flipped onto its side upon the impact.
One person was possibly trapped inside their vehicle following the wreck.
Emergency responders transported one patient to a nearby hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately available.
Police temporarily blocked the intersection of French Camp and Union due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
