1 Killed in Manteca Big Rig Accident on Airport Way and West Louise Avenue
Manteca, California (July 2, 2020) – One Killed in a traffic crash involving two big rigs on Wednesday morning in Manteca, police said.
Just after 12:30 a.m., on July 1, the authorities responded to the deadly crash on Airport Way and West Louise Avenue.
As per the officials’ report, a car crashed into a big rig and then smashed into a parked, unoccupied semi-truck on the roadway.
Fatal Big Rig Accident on Airport Way Kills Driver
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the police, it is believed that speed was a factor in the mishap.
Following the accident, the roadway was closed and as of 7:00 a.m. Airport Way was reopened.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
