Minor Injuries Sustained in Manteca Accident on Highway 99 at State Route 120
Manteca, California (November 5, 2020) – Minor injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle crash that happened Thursday morning in Manteca, according to a local news source.
The accident involving three vehicles happened just before 8:22 a.m. on Highway 99 at State Route 120.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver GMC Sierra and two other vehicles collided for unknown reasons on the roadway. The impact caused one of the cars to roll over and landed on its side.
The CHP said the GMC Sierra acquired moderate front-end damage following the accident.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the parties involved in the crash. Authorities said the accident resulted in minor injuries. However, the exact number of injured victims and their identities were not immediately disclosed.
The wrecked GMC was towed from the scene of the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
