41-Year-Old Man and 32-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Santa Maria Motorcycle Crash on Donovan Road Off-Ramp from Highway 101
Santa Maria, California (June 26, 2020) – A man and a woman were injured Thursday evening in a traffic accident in Santa Maria, according to a local news source.
The crash took place just before 10:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, on the southbound Donovan Road offramp from Highway 101.
Authorities said a Santa Maria woman was driving a Honda Accord on the roadway when, for unknown reasons, she struck a Honda CBR motorcycle from behind.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 41-year-old man, and his passenger, a 32-year-old woman, were taken to Marian Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the crash, but the driver of the Honda Accord was not licensed and could receive a citation.
An investigation by the California Highway Patrol is ongoing.
