Man Seriously Injured in Taft Motorcycle Collision on South Sixth Street ID’d as Steven Wilson
Steven Wilson Hurt in Taft Crash on South Sixth Street
Taft, California (February 24, 2021) – 25-year-old Steven Gregory Wilson Jr. has been identified as the Taft man who was seriously hurt in a Taft crash Monday afternoon, February 22.
The major injury motorcycle accident happened on South Sixth Street between Oak and Hope in the afternoon hours.
A Yamaha Street bike ridden by Wilson Jr. southbound on the street, at a high rate of speed, reportedly lost control and struck a street sign.
Due to the impact, both Gregory and his female passenger were ejected from the bike after it rolled over.
Major Injury Taft Motorcycle Crash
Wilson sustained moderate to major injuries while the woman survived with non-serious injuries.
Police said alcohol and Speed played a role in the mishap.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
