Man Dies after Fresno Collision on Highway 180 near Blythe Avenue
Fresno, California (January 11, 2021) – A man was killed in a semi-truck accident on Monday in Fresno, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened on Highway 180 near Blythe Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Volkswagen Jetta, driven by the man, was headed westbound on the highway when it drifted into the eastbound lane.
Unfortunately, the Volkswagen collided with a big rig that was traveling eastbound at the time.

Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the big rig was not injured.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
