Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Mission Gorge Road near Twain Avenue in San Diego
San Diego, California (March 27, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car near Grantville in San Diego on Friday evening.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened on Mission Gorge Road near Twain Avenue at about 7:50 p.m. March 26, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A man was crossing the street near an El Pollo Loco restaurant when he was struck by a 2018 Nissan Altima driven by a 39-year-old woman.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
