Man Hit and Killed by Car on University Avenue near 36th Street in San Diego
San Diego, California (August 25, 2020) – A man died after being struck by a car in the City Heights area of San Diego on Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on University Avenue near 36th Street at about 7:40 p.m. August 24.
The 46-year-old man was walking in the area and was hit by an eastbound 2007 Nissan Maxima driven by a 52-year-old woman.
The man was killed in the accident.
The identity of the man was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
