San Francisco, California (December 3, 2020) – A man was killed in a rollover accident on Thursday morning near San Francisco International Airport in San Francisco, the CHP said.

At about 7:00 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly single-vehicle accident on northbound Highway 101 near San Bruno Avenue.

According to the CHP, a silver Toyota Yaris, driven by a man, made an unsafe right lane change and crashed into the back of another vehicle.

Following the collision, the Toyota reportedly crashed into a concrete wall and flipped over several times.

The car finally landed on the driver, who had been ejected from the car. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, the officials said.

First responders arrived at the scene and extricated the man from the wreckage.

Fatal Rollover Crash on Highway 101

Sadly the man, who was believed to be in his mid to late 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the accident.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
