Man Killed in Car Accident at West Avenue E and 30th Street West in Lancaster, Jamie Levy Arrested

Lancaster, California (August 8, 2020) – A passenger was killed in a car crash on Saturday morning in Lancaster on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4 a.m. at West Avenue E and 30th Street West.
The authorities said 33-year-old Jamie Levy was driving a 2014 Scion TC westbound on Avenue E when she failed to stop at a stop sign and allowed the vehicle to leave the roadway where it crashed into a dirt berm.

A passenger in the vehicle, identified only as a 36-year-old Lancaster man, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Levy sustained moderate injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. She was eventually arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
