Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Vehicle on West Monte Vista Avenue in Turlock
Turlock, California (March 15, 2021) – A 27-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident in Turlock on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on West Monte Vista Avenue near California State University Stanislaus at about 6:53 a.m.
The man was walking in the area and was hit by an SUV in unclear circumstances.
The paramedics responded to the incident and performed CPR on the pedestrian. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at a local hospital.
The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The investigators are yet to establish the cause of the accident.
