Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car at Springdale Street and Croupier Drive in Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach, California (August 12, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Huntington Beach early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12:20 a.m. in the area of Springdale Street and Croupier Drive.
A pedestrian was walking eastbound across the intersection and was hit by a northbound car driven by a 22-year-old female.
Pedestrian Fatally Struck by DUI Driver in Huntington Beach
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. She was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
