Man Killed in Fresno Car Crash on Highway 41 near Riverdale Avenue

Fresno, California (November 11, 2020) – One person was killed in a car crash on Tuesday night in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The deadly collision happened on Highway 41 near Riverdale Avenue.

33-year-old Amber Sexton was driving a U-Haul truck southbound on Highway 41 when he lost control and collided head-on with a northbound blue Honda Civic.

Another vehicle was also involved in the accident.

The 23-year-old male driver of the Civic was seriously injured and was flown to a Fresno hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

Sexton sustained moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The driver of the third vehicle was unhurt.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
