Man Killed in Multi-Car Accident on Harmony Grove Road near Wild Willow Hollow Road in Elfin Forest, Ardeshir Tooraji Arrested
Escondido, California (February 2, 2020) – A Chula Vista man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision involving a stolen vehicle that happened on Friday near in Elfin Forest area in Escondido, San Diego.
The accident happened at about 7:40 a.m. on Harmony Grove Road near Wild Willow Hollow Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 28-year-old Chula Vista man was driving a Subaru at a high rate of speed when he collided with a stolen Toyota Highlander SUV. The Highlander overturned after the accident.
A Toyota Prius driven by a 49-year-old San Marcos man was also involved in the accident.

The unidentified driver of the Subaru was killed in the accident.
The SUV driver, identified as 38-year-old Ardeshir Tooraji of Carlsbad, and his three passengers sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Tooraji was later arrested on suspicion of auto theft and for possession of stolen property.
The driver of the Prius was unhurt.
No other information about the accident was provided.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
