Man Dies in South Lake Tahoe Accident on Emerald Bay Road
South Lake Tahoe, California (December 5, 2020) – A man was killed Friday afternoon in a traffic single-vehicle accident in South Lake Tahoe, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash happened at around 3:51 p.m. in the 700 block of Emerald Bay Road.
Authorities said the man was driving a vehicle northbound on Emerald Bay Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and overcorrected. The vehicle overturned and landed upside down.
Alcohol or speed was considered a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
