52-Year-Old Man Killed in Borrego Springs Car Crash on Borrego Springs Road near Highway 78
Borrego Springs, California (September 4, 2020) – A 52-year-old man was killed in a traffic accident on Thursday afternoon in Borrego Springs, authorities said.
At around 4:10 p.m., on September 3, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly accident on Borrego Springs Road near Highway 78.
The CHP said a 2006 Ford F-150, driven by the 52-year-old man, drifted across the northbound lanes and off the eastern edge of Borrego Springs Road, struck a signpost and overturned.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Intoxication was suspected of having played a role in the mishap.
