19-Year-Old Man Killed in Vacaville Crash on Interstate 80 near Interstate 505
Vacaville, California (September 11, 2020) – A 19-year-old man was killed Friday morning in a fiery traffic accident on an interstate in Vacaville, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly car crash happened just before 6:20 a.m. on Interstate 80, just west of the Interstate Highway 505.
The CHP said the man was driving a utility truck on Interstate 80 when, for unknown reasons, he veered off the roadway and struck a large sign pole.
The utility truck then caught fire.

The driver of the utility truck, that vehicle’s sole occupant, was declared dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of family.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
